বায়োগ্রাফি: A native from Boston, Benjamin Franklin was an America's scientist, inventor, politician, philanthropist and businessman. He is best known as the only Founding Father who signed all three documents that freed America from Britain. Benjamin Franklin helped draft the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. As a result, he is considered as one of the 10 most important founding fathers of the United States. The actual document was not signed until August when Benjamin Franklin signed his name along with the fifty-five other representatives of the thirteen colonies. Franklin was famous for his investigations into electricity and for writing "Poor Richard's Almanack". When he was 11 years old he invented swimming fins. It was his first documented invention. As a scientist, he was a major figure in the American Enlightenment and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity. As an inventor, he is known for the lightning rod, bifocals, etc.
