বায়োগ্রাফি: Charlotte Brontë was the only one among of her three sisters who survived into adulthood and whose works have become classics in English Literature and translated into many other languages. Their first writings were published in 1846 under the pseudonyms of Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell. They confessed of their Bell pseudonyms in 1848 and by the next year, they were recognized in London’s literary circles. Charlotte used the school as the basis for Lowood School in Jane Eyre. At home in Haworth Parsonage, Brontë acted as "the motherly friend and guardian of her younger sisters". Brontë wrote her first known poem at the age of 13 in 1829 and was to go on to write more than 200 poems in the course of her life. She worked as a governess from 1835 to 1839 and later opened a school with her sisters but the school was unsuccessful to attract students. her most famous work Jane Eyre was her 2nd work but the first one “The professor” was rejected by her publisher.
