বায়োগ্রাফি: A pioneer in the world of commercial magazine fiction John Griffith London was born as John Griffith Chaney. He was an American novelist, journalist, and social activist and was one of the first to achieve star status and a great fortune by writing. London was a part of the radical literary group "The Crowd" in San Francisco. His most famous works are The Call of the Wild and White Fang, both are based on the Klondike Gold Rush and the short stories "To Build a Fire", "An Odyssey of the North", and "Love of Life". "The Pearls of Parlay” and "The Heathen" are his works on the South Pacific. His dystopian novel The Iron Heel, his non-fiction exposé The People of the Abyss, The War of the Classes, and Before Adam etc. advocates about topics like unionization, workers' rights, socialism, and eugenics which he was very passionate about.
