বায়োগ্রাফি: Harriet Elisabeth Beecher Stowe (penname Christopher Crowfield) was born in the religiously famous Beecher family and is best known for her novel Uncle Tom's Cabin (1852), which depicts the harsh conditions for enslaved African Americans. She was an American abolitionist and novelist. Stowe’s works include 30 books, novels, three travel chronicles, and collections of articles and letters. She was influential for both her writings and her public stances and debates on social issues of the day. She was born to Calvinist preacher Lyman Beecher and Roxana Foote who passed away when Stowe was 5 years old. He notable siblings include Catharine Beecher, who became an educator and author and Brothers Henry Ward Beecher (preacher and abolitionist) and Charles Beecher, and Edward Beecher. In 1836 she married Rev. Calvin Ellis Stowe.
